Arts for a Better Future helps people enable local communities to draw on their artistic resources to respond to their spiritual, social and physical needs. For Ana Clara Souza '12 it became a life's work.

Casa das Artes now runs music, dance and theatre with 150 young people a week in central Sao Paulo. "Art gives a young person a voice before anyone gives them a microphone," she says.

Ana Clara returns to help lead the arts workshops each year and is one of this site's instructors.
